Break

The break tag <br> is used to insert line breaks within the text. It doesn't require a closing tag because it's a self-closing tag.

Example:

break.html

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
    <meta charset="UTF-8">
    <title>My Webpage</title>
</head>
<body>
    This is the first line.<br>This is the second line.
</body>
</html>

Output
This is the first line.
This is the second line.

In the example above, the <br> tag is used to break the text into two lines. It's commonly used for adding line breaks within addresses, poem lines, or any other situations where a line break is necessary.

It's worth noting that using multiple <br> tags for creating vertical spacing is generally not recommended. Instead, CSS should be used to control the layout and spacing of elements.
